My name is Shirlei Balbi, founder of Brazilian Beauty Med Spa. My passion for beauty began long before I opened the spa — it started in my childhood in Brazil, where I grew up in a home with five sisters and a wonderful mother who always taught us the importance of self-care and feeling good in our own skin.

I arrived in the United States 15 years ago, full of dreams and determination to build a new life. I enrolled in esthetics school and dove into the learning process. Over the years, I worked in several med spas, gaining valuable experience and learning what clients truly want: personalized care, trust, and real results.

In January 2013, I took a leap of faith and opened my own space — Brazilian Beauty Med Spa, located in Suwanee, Georgia. I started small, offering waxing, facials, and a few spa services. As with any entrepreneurial journey, there were challenges. When COVID-19 hit, I had to relocate to a smaller space and start over. That change pushed me to innovate, investing in advanced aesthetic technologies such as laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and modern skin treatments. This transformation brought incredible results and new growth. During this phase, I was lucky to start working with my sister Flavia, who quickly became an essential partner in this mission to empower women through beauty and care.

Today, we have served more than 5,000 clients, and we continue to grow with love, dedication, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional service. At Brazilian Beauty Med Spa, our mission goes beyond beauty — we help women feel more confident, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin.
